What does HydroSpark+ dispense?

Does HydroSpark+ need plumbing?
No in tank mode: you refill the 5 L tank and empty the reject-water tank. Pipe-in mode connects to your water supply and drain instead.

No tubing at all. Refill the tank when the screen asks, and empty the reject-water tank when the machine tells you to.
Choose tank mode if you cannot run tubing, or would rather not.

Pipe-in
Tubing feeds water in and takes reject water out, so there is nothing to refill. We check the route, water pressure, power and ventilation before installing.
Choose pipe-in for a permanent spot with no refilling.

Four water modes take more hardware
Heating, chilling and carbonation are all built in, which is why HydroSpark+ is deeper than a simple water dispenser.
The filter lifts out from the top
Twist and lift the cartridge out through the top panel. Leave enough space above the 436 mm body for filter changes.
Refill it, or pipe it in
In tank mode you refill the fresh-water tank and empty the reject-water tank. Pipe it in and tubing does both jobs.

What else should I know before buying?
Does HydroSpark+ need plumbing?
Not in tank mode. You fill the removable 5 L tank by hand and reject water collects in a second tank. If you would rather pipe it in, inlet and drain tubing feed it automatically; we check the route before installing.
How does tank mode work day to day?
When the screen asks for water, lift out the tank, pour away the reject water, refill it from the tap and slot it back in. Pipe it in instead and there is no refilling, just fixed tubing.
How long does one CO2 cylinder last?
A 0.6 L cylinder can make up to 100 glasses of 330 ml. Actual yield varies with fizz strength, glass size, water temperature and use.
How often is the filter changed?
Replace it when HydroSpark+ prompts you, or at 4,000 L or 24 months, whichever comes first.
Where can I see the HydroSpark+ TDS reading?
Open the settings screen and you will see the current TDS reading, a quick way to check the RO is doing its job.
Why use RO when Singapore tap water is safe?
It is a choice, not a safety need. RO lowers dissolved solids further than carbon alone, and HydroSpark+ pours that water in every mode: sparkling, cold, ambient and hot.
How is HydroSpark+ different from a SodaStream-style maker?
A standalone carbonator only carbonates the water you pour in. It costs less and takes less counter depth, so it is the right choice if fizz is all you want. HydroSpark+ also filters the water and pours it cold, ambient or hot, from a refill tank or piped in.
How much counter space should I allow?
The machine body is 220 mm wide, 508 mm deep and 436 mm high. Leave room around it too: air behind it, space to reach the connections, lift the tank in and out, swap the filter and CO2 cylinder, and fit a glass under the outlet.
