Water purifiers · Singapore

Water purifiers for Singapore homes.

RO-filtered water, TDS readings you can check and a reminder when the filter is due. Choose sparkling, hot and cold on the counter, or an under-sink model that keeps the worktop clear.

Each model answers a different need: sparkling water, hot and cold on demand, or a clear worktop.

Why choose a purifier

Why households choose a water purifier.

Velta purifiers pair RO filtration with sparkling, hot and cold, or under-sink options, plus TDS readings and filter-life reminders.

Reduced chlorine taste and odour

Carbon filtration reduces chlorine-related tastes and odours before the water is poured.

Fewer bottles to buy and carry

Refill your own glass or bottle from the purifier and cut down on the bottled water you buy, carry and store.

Check the TDS reading

Every Velta purifier gives you a TDS reading you can check on the purifier itself.

Know when to change the filter

Filter-life tracking shows when each cartridge is due.

Reverse osmosis across the purifier range

Every purifier uses RO. Choose how you want your water.

0.0001 µm

Velta's RO membranes have a nominal 0.0001 µm membrane scale.

Reduced chlorine taste and odour

Carbon stages reduce chlorine-related tastes and smells before the water reaches your glass.

Lower dissolved solids

Every purifier uses RO to reduce dissolved solids that carbon alone cannot reach.

Choose how you want your water

Sparkling or hot and cold on the counter, or ambient water from an under-sink unit.

RO performance and maintenance

RO filtration, TDS readings and filter reminders.

RO does the fine filtering, the TDS reading shows it is working, and the filter reminder tells you when it is time to change.

RO in every purifier

RO handles dissolved solids.

Carbon improves taste. RO goes further, reducing dissolved solids that carbon leaves behind.

Every filter has a job.

Sediment filters catch particles, carbon improves taste and smell, RO reduces dissolved solids, and the final stage gives the water its last polish.

Quick guide

What is reverse osmosis?

Reverse osmosis uses pressure to move water through a very fine membrane. Sediment and carbon stages prepare the water; the RO membrane then reduces a broader range of dissolved substances before the final polishing stage.

Common terms

Water purifier, filter or dispenser?

A filter is one component. A purifier is the complete appliance. A dispenser describes how the water comes out.

01

Water filter

The part that actually treats the water. It can be a simple carbon filter or a full RO membrane.

02

Water purifier

The whole appliance, filters included. Compare what it filters, how it installs and what upkeep it needs, not just the name.

03

Water dispenser

Describes how water comes out, often with temperature or volume control. HydroSpark+ and HydroForm+ purify and dispense; HydroView+ pours from its own faucet.

Installation

Make sure it fits before ordering.

Fit comes down to depth, power, the water inlet and drain, faucet position and room to change filters.

01

Measure the whole space

For a countertop model, include depth, overhead clearance and room to fill a glass or bottle. Under the sink, include the trap, valves, bins and room to remove filters.

02

Find the inlet and drain route

All three Velta purifiers use RO. Plumbed-in setups need a planned inlet and reject-water drain; HydroSpark+ can run from its refill and waste tanks instead.

03

Check power and the faucet position

HydroSpark+ and HydroForm+ need a power point near the counter. HydroView+ needs power inside the cabinet and a spot for its faucet on the worktop or sink.

04

Leave room for servicing

Even a neat installation needs room to reach each filter, the shut-off valve and anything that has to move when it is serviced.

Frequently asked questions

Water purifier FAQs.

01

Do Singapore homes need a water purifier?

+

No. PUB states that Singapore tap water is suitable for drinking directly from the tap. A purifier is an optional choice for taste, hot and cold water on tap, sparkling water or under-sink convenience.

02

Should I choose a countertop or under-sink water purifier?

+

Countertop models give you hot and cold water, provided you have the counter depth. HydroSpark+ adds sparkling water, while HydroForm+ is the narrower hot-and-cold choice. HydroView+ sits under the sink for ambient filtered water and a clear worktop.

03

Does countertop mean no plumbing?

+

No. HydroForm+ needs a cold-water inlet, drain and power. HydroSpark+ can use its 5 L refill tank or connect to an inlet and drain. Countertop only tells you where the machine sits.

04

Will HydroView+ require a new hole for the faucet?

+

HydroView+ uses its own dual-outlet faucet. We will check whether an existing opening can be reused or a new one is needed.

05

Is a water purifier the same as a water dispenser?

+

A purifier filters the incoming water. A dispenser describes how water comes out—such as hot, cold or a measured amount. HydroSpark+ and HydroForm+ do both; HydroView+ dispenses through its own faucet.

06

Does an RO water purifier send water to the drain?

+

Yes. Reverse osmosis produces filtered water and a separate reject-water stream, so plumbed-in installations need a drain. How much depends on the model and how it is used.

07

How often are Velta purifier filters replaced?

+

Change filters when the purifier reminds you, or when they reach their litre or time limit, whichever comes first. HydroSpark+: 4,000 L / 24 months. HydroForm+: one replacement filter; follow the appliance reminder. HydroView+: CF 4,000 L / 12 months; RO 8,000 L / 24 months.

08

How do I know my Velta purifier is working?

+

Check the TDS reading on the purifier: it is a quick view of how the RO stage is doing. The filter-life display tells you when a change is due. HydroSpark+ shows TDS in its settings, HydroForm+ shows it live on screen, and HydroView+ shows water-in and water-out TDS on the faucet.
