Hhuhu suits households that already have purified water, have the counter space, and want to make hydrogen water at home.
Best for
You will need 223 × 476 mm of counter space, room behind the machine to lift out the tank, a power point and time for regular tank cleaning.
Choose another option if
A water purifier, a hot-and-cold dispenser or a portable bottle will suit you better if one of those matters more.

Hydrogen measurements
Hhuhu's headline figure counts both dissolved hydrogen and hydrogen bubbles. To compare machines directly, use dissolved-H₂ readings taken under the same conditions.

Dissolved H₂ in mg/L or ppm is different from total generated gas, gas volume, bubble count or a combined dissolved-plus-bubble figure.

The reading that matters is taken from the glass after a normal dispense, with the source water, temperature and time since dispensing noted.

The most useful reports identify the method, calibration, exact model, sample conditions and repeat runs.

Direct dissolved-H₂ measurement is more useful for comparison than ORP or visible bubble count.
Research summary
A 2024 systematic review brought together 25 human studies and described an emerging field that still needs larger, more rigorous trials. It looked at hydrogen water in general, not at Hhuhu.
Studies differ in the device, the concentration, how much people drank, who took part and what was measured. Read any result with its setup in mind.

Hhuhu is made for purified, distilled or RO water with a TDS of 5 or below. Tap water is not suitable.

Use purified, distilled or RO water with TDS of 5 or below.

No plumbing is needed, but leave room behind the machine to lift the tank out for refilling and its fortnightly clean.

Each dispense runs about 15 seconds. Hydrogen escapes from the water over time, so drink it fresh.
In Singapore that means water from an RO purifier, or bottled distilled or RO water (TDS 5 or below), not tap water.
Cleaning, warranty & service
Hhuhu has no replacement filter and carries a 24-month warranty. Clean the removable tank every two weeks and follow the care instructions in the box.
Tank care
Wash the removable tank with mild detergent, rinse thoroughly and let it air-dry before putting it back.
Maintenance
There is no filter to replace. Care is mostly about the tank, and Velta Singapore is here if it ever needs a service.

No. The milky look comes from tiny suspended bubbles and fades as the gas escapes. Dissolved H₂ is a separate measurement.
