Using Hhuhu day to day.
Fill the tank with purified water, dispense whenever you like and clean the tank every two weeks.

Fill and seat the 3 L tank
Lift out the rear tank, fill it and slot it firmly back in. Leave some clearance behind the 476 mm-deep machine so the tank can come out.

Dispense a glass
Place a glass below the outlet and press the dispense button. The cycle stops automatically after about 15 seconds, or press again to stop sooner.

Clean the tank every two weeks
Wash the tank with mild detergent, rinse well and let it air-dry before putting it back. Wipe the base with a damp cloth; never immerse it.
The temporary white cloud
Watch the fine bubbles form.
Fine bubbles give freshly dispensed water a milky-white appearance. The water clears naturally as the bubbles rise.
The cloud is the bubbles themselves, not a measure of dissolved hydrogen.

01Is Hhuhu a water purifier?

No. Hhuhu adds hydrogen to water; it does not filter it. Fill it with purified, distilled or RO water (TDS 5 or below). If you do not already have purified water at home, you will need a purifier such as HydroView+ alongside it.
02Can I use tap, mineral or alkaline water in Hhuhu?

Hhuhu requires purified, distilled or RO water with TDS of 5 or below. Tap, mineral and alkaline water can hurt performance and damage the machine.
03What does the temporary white appearance mean?

Tiny bubbles suspended in the water. They rise and the water clears on its own. The cloud shows bubbles, not how much hydrogen is dissolved, which is measured separately.
04Is the 10,000 ppm figure dissolved hydrogen?

No. It counts dissolved hydrogen and suspended bubbles together. To compare machines fairly, look for dissolved-H₂ readings taken the same way: same source water, temperature and time after dispensing.
05What should I do if the red indicator stays on?

Check the tank level and seating first. If there is enough water, place an empty cup below the outlet, hold RESET for two seconds and allow the purge to run for about 20 seconds. If the issue continues, stop using the machine and contact Velta Singapore support.
06How often does the tank need cleaning?

Every two weeks. Wash it with mild detergent, rinse well and air-dry. Wipe the main unit with a soft damp cloth; do not immerse it or use alcohol, solvents or abrasives.
07Does Hhuhu need replacement filters?

No. There is no filter to replace. Just clean the tank every two weeks; anything else is handled by Velta service if it is ever needed.
08What does research say about hydrogen water?

Research in people is still early, and studies use different devices and methods, so results vary. Hhuhu is a wellness appliance, not a medical treatment. Talk to your doctor about any health decision.
